Cari Dicke Co-Founder, Adoption and Foster CoordinatorBoard President Email Cari

Cari Dicke is a founding member and Board President of Colorado Feline Foster Rescue. She has a Bachelor of Science from Metro State University, and a paralegal certificate from ACC. Cari’s skills and experience have given her the ability to care for and support both animals and humans. She has experience as a vet tech, sales representative, paralegal, and was the executive director for a children’s mental health treatment center in Denver, Colorado. For the past ten years Cari has focused on volunteer programs benefiting cats through foster programs. She started fostering with Angels with Paws where she helped them build their foster program and store program for two years. She then transitioned to volunteering for Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue (RMFR) for the next 8 years where she built the foster program, store program, and construction program from the ground up. She served on the RMFR board as a member, and then president for 7 years. In her career, Cari has fostered over a thousand cats, and continues to take on the most medically challenging foster cases.

Kris Meding Co-Founder, Adoption and Foster Coordinator, Board Treasurer Email Kris

Kris Meding is a founding member and treasurer for CFFR.  She holds a BA in Business from Michigan State University. Kris retired in 2019 from a long career in business-to-business sales. She began fostering with Cari in 2018 and expanded her volunteer experience to operations in early 2020.  Kris is the financial manager of CFFR and coordinates foster and adoption operations.  She ensures CFFR is PACFA (Pet Animal Care Facilities Act) compliant, as well as helps to streamline processes and procedures around intake, adoption of cats, and onboarding and communication with fosters.  Kris’s strong organizational experience makes her a valued member of the CFFR team. Kris and her husband foster kittens and adult cats for CFFR.

Heather Haseman — Adoption and Discharge Coordinator, Board Secretary Email Heather

Heather Haseman has a BA in Elementary Education and a Minor in Preschool Education.  She taught preschool for 2 years in Nebraska before becoming the Director and Lead Teacher at a small Christian school in Iowa.  Her husband, Mark, is in the Army so she has lived in 9 states!  Heather has been a stay at home mom to their 7 kids for the last 12 years and has recently started working part-time in the Jeffco schools.  Heather and Mark started fostering with CFFR in 2021 after losing their 18 year old cat, Daisy.  You will likely hear from Heather when you have submitted an adoption application and/or when you are ready to review your adoption packet before your kitty comes home.  She also provides invaluable assistance with incoming cats on transport days.  Heather and her family foster kittens and adult cats for CFFR.

Carroll Larremore Adoption Follow Up Email Carroll

Carroll Larremore has an MS in Counseling and worked as a therapist for 26 years.  After retiring, Carroll served with the American Red Cross for 11 years as a counselor to disaster workforce volunteers. She has been volunteering as a feline foster with Cari since 2015.  If you’ve adopted from CFFR, you have likely gotten a “How’s it going?” call from Carroll, who follows up with all of our adopters!  Carroll and her husband foster kittens and adult cats for CFFR.

Dr. Madole — Senior Veterinarian

Dr. Madole graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1997. He practiced in Kansas before moving to Colorado in 1999. He has three dogs, two cats and too many horses to mention. He owned his own clinic for 10 years in Colorado and is now the proud owner of Animal Clinic North in Northglenn. His continued commitment to the health and well-being of our beloved animals is of value to CFFR.  Dr. Madole and Cari Dicke worked together for 8 years through the Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue and have now forged a new partnership dedicated to Colorado Feline Foster Rescue.

Ruth Brunner Registered Veterinary Technician

Ruth Brunner assists CFFR with all medical needs. She has an Associate’s Degree in Animal Science and has worked in the veterinary field for several years.  Ruth is one of the first to register with the state of Colorado and distinguish herself as a Registered Vet Tech.  She currently works as the Practice Manager for UrgentVet in Broomfield, and also worked at Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue with Cari Dicke and Dr. Madole.  She provides flexible hours each week as needed to assist with medical matters for CFFR.  Ruth has a passion for working with animals and has always been drawn to providing services for animal welfare organizations.
